Abstract
Abstract
Meningiomas are common intracranial neoplasms. In pregnant women, the incidence of intracranial meningioma is comparable with that in nonpregnant women of the same age group, with an incidence of 1–4.5/100,000. These patients usually present with headaches, nausea, vomiting, and visual disturbances. This case series presents three cases of meningioma with different manifestations occurring in the second trimester of pregnancy. All were admitted to a tertiary hospital in the Philippines. The cases were managed by a multidisciplinary team, considering the patients’s neurologic manifestation, age of gestation of pregnancy, and tumor complications.
