Abstract

ABSTRACT Dry needling is a technique increasingly being used across various medical and therapeutic fields, including dentistry. It involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points in muscles or tissues to alleviate pain and promote healing. This paper explores the application of dry needling within the field of dentistry, outlining its efficacy in treating conditions such as temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), myofascial pain, and other musculoskeletal issues related to oral health. By examining clinical evidence and studies, this research aims to highlight the potential benefits and considerations of incorporating dry needling into dental practice.
