Abstract
Bifid pancreatic duct (BPD) is a rare embryological abnormality of the pancreatic ductal system, in which there is duplication of the main pancreatic duct. During pancreatoduodenectomy (PD), these ductal variations can make pancreaticojejunostomy difficult and are associated with an increased risk of postoperative pancreatic fistula. Here, we present a case of BPD identified during PD, which was managed by classical Heidelberg pancreaticojejunostomy without any complications.
