Abstract
Isolated cystic duct dilatation is an extremely rare congenital anomaly with fewer than 100 reported cases. Often referred to as Type VI choledochal cysts, they are associated with abnormal pancreaticobiliary junctions. Complete cyst excision with histopathological examination is the recommended treatment option. Here, we describe a patient with isolated dilatation of cystic duct who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy with cyst excision.
