Abstract
The Advanced Industrial Intermediates (AII) business unit at speciality chemicals producer Lanxess has developed a new high-performance vulcanization accelerator for tyres and technical rubber goods. Trial product VP Vulkacit TZ is suitable for use in all types of rubber and offers both uniform vulcanization and full crosslinking, even for multi-layered items and complex geometries, the company reports. The innovative product was unveiled at the K 2019 trade show for plastics and rubber.
