Concepts and Classification11This chapter will focus on acquisition of perceptual concepts rather than verbal, logical, or mathematical concepts. Perceptual concepts are distinguished by the fact that they pertain to groups of stimuli. The other classes of concepts will be treated in subsequent chapters of this volume.
