1. CARLISLE, ANTHONY, (1768–1840) was a physician and Head of the Westminster Hospital. He was also court doctor to the Prince of Wales, and a member of the Royal Society
2. NICHOLSON, WILLIAM, (1753–1815) was at first a clerk with the East India Company and then headmaster of a school in London. He later became a private engineer and a designer of canals. Finally he became the publisher of a natural science journal.
3. CRUICKSHANKS, WILLIAM, (1745–1800) was a physician, and Professor of Anatomy. He was also a chemist to the artillery and a member of the Royal Society.
