Abstract
Organisations running operational technology (OT) systems seem to have taken a long time to wake up to the threat posed by Internet-connected systems. With the Internet of Things (IoT), it has arrived in a sudden tsunami of devices, with hardly anyone pausing to think about security. And the convergence of the two – the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) – is the worst of both worlds.
