Abstract
The use of biometrics in healthcare is set to grow by over 300% in the next five years, according to research firm Visiongain. It values the market at $1.63bn in 2017, and forecasts this will rocket to over $5bn in 2023 and $14.65bn in 2028. Visiongain says the growth will be led by vendors including Fujitsu, 3M Cogent, NEC, IDEMIA and BIO-key.
