Where Do We Go from Here?

Abstract

This article describes the transition support program that Ottawa's Salvation Army Grace Hospital developed for its staff leading up to the hospital's closure scheduled for the fall of 1999. The closure followed on the recommendation of the Ontario Health Services Restructuring Commission that the hospital's obstetrics and gynaecology programs be moved to the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. The hospital was further directed to move its other programs to the Ottawa Hospital.
