Abstract
Alstom's Coradia iLint hydrogen fuel cell powered passenger train has been granted approval by the German Federal Railway Authority (Eisenbahn-Bundesamt, EBA) for passenger service in Germany. The certificate of homologation issued by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) is a major milestone for the Coradia iLint, which can now enter regular passenger operation.
