The rapid evolution of technology has transformed education, giving rise to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) as a pivotal platform for global learning. However, the increasing prevalence of cyber threats in the digital age poses substantial risks to the integrity, security, and privacy of MOOC platforms and their users. To counter these challenges, innovative solutions leveraging blockchain technology have emerged as a promising approach to enhance MOOC ecosystems. In this chapter we delve into the multifaceted intersection of cybersecurity, blockchain, and MOOCs, providing an in-depth exploration of the challenges and innovations within this dynamic landscape.
