Abstract
The aim of the chapter to study economic content of intellectual property, problems and
contradictions of the world economy in terms of innovative development, as well as the search for possible options for overcoming existing contradictions.
To achieve this goal, the following tasks would be set: identify patterns of innovative development of the world economy; explore the features of intellectual property in the conditions innovative development of the world economy; identify forms of implementation of intellectual property in international technological exchange; to analyze the foreign economic activity of EU countries, USA and Asia in the field of intellectual property and justify the methods of its state regulation for the purpose of innovative development of economy.
