Abstract

The Mongolia is second biggest landlocked country in the world. The development of country depends a lot on educated mass of the nation. Therefore, the education system especially higher education system of Mongolia is facing today with many challenges. In early 90s education system was managed by Russian influence and after 90s it changed dramatically. Many private universities are established after democratic change in country. During pandemic period Mongolian education sector faced many challenges. E-learning and online learning is now one of main form of the teaching and learning in Mongolia. This chapter will cover state of the education system in Mongolia especially after pandemic period.
