Abstract
This chapter is devoted to a discussion of applications of nuclear fission. It covers some aspects of the topics of nuclear reactors, nuclear safeguards and nonproliferation, reactor antineutrinos, and nuclear medicine. It is, however, limited in scope and the reader is encouraged to explore the many other exciting sub-areas of the applications of nuclear fission.
