Abstract

Publication of the assemblage of clay oil lamps excavated from the temenos of Allat in Palmyra by Polish archaeologists from the PCMA University of Warsaw in the early 1970s. The assemblage consists of mainly 4th century AD lamps, made locally in Palmyra in imitation of imported lamps from the Mediterranean.
