Abstract
The protection of pruned apricot sapwood by benomyl, Fusarium lateritium and a combination of benomyl and F. lateritium against invasion by E. armeniacae was evaluated and compared in field experiments. All treatments gave highly significant control of the pathogen. In vitro tests showed that benomyl and F. lateritium were supplementary in their mode of action, and suggested that integrated control employing both agents will be more useful than either one alone.
