Abstract
A polonium-beryllium source has been used to investigate the radiations in coincidence with the 4�43 MeV ?-ray leading to the ground state of 12C. The coincident radiation consisted of a continuum due to neutrons and a ?-ray of energy 3�05 MeV and intensity 0�12?0�08 that of the 4�43 MeV ?-ray.
