Abstract
Ribosomes and polysomes have been isolated from wool roots and fractionated
into well-defined and consistently reproducible groups_ Single ribosomes predominate,
but evidence is presented which discounts enzymatic degradation or mechanical shear
of polysomes as causes of this_
