Abstract
Seven normal alcohols have been isolated
from the unsaponifiable part of wool wax and identified as n-octadecanol,
n-eicosanol, n-docosanol, n-tetracosanol, n-hexacosanol, n-octacosanol, and
n-triacontanol.
