Abstract
Reactions of a number of mixed peroxides
and mixtures of peroxides, with benzene and with nitrobenzene, have been
studied. The complex nature of the reactions prevents quantitative comparison
of radicals, but some general features are discussed, particularly the relative
simplicity of the products obtained from p-nitro-substituted peroxides and/or
nitrobenzene.
