Abstract
A study has been made of some of the factors influencing the distortion of developed images of tracks Ilford G5 400�. emulsions. It has been found that the effect of distortion on scattering measurements can be reduced to a negligible amount by developing the emulsions at 15 �C and drying with an alcohol-water solution of increasing concentration.
