Abstract
An account is given of tests for the control of Amyema miquelii (Lehm.) Tiegh on Eucalyptus polyanthemos Schau., by means of herbicides injected into holes in the host trunks. Various 2,4-D preparations applied in spring or summer killed at least 80 per cent of the mistletoes with little injury to the hosts. 2,4-DB applied in winter or spring killed at least 80 per cent of the mistletoes and caused less host injury than 2,4-D.
