Abstract
The safety, political, social, economic and other situations in Bosnia and Herzegovina may be affected by the functionning of the Office of the High Representative, primarily due to the organization of the state itself and the powers of the High Representative. In this paper, a preliminary study was conducted to examine the impact of the Office of the High Representative on safety and other situations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A questionnaire of 12 items was created, which were evaluated using a five-point Likert scale by 15 decision-makers from different structures in terms of knowledge of the functioning of the Office of the High Representative and knowledge of its work. The obtained results show that it cannot be said that the Office of the High Representative has a positive impact on the safety situation and stability in the country. The highest percentage of answers refers to disagreement with the questionnaire items. Mean values were obtained using the Bonferroni Mean Operator (BMO). In addition to this, descriptive statistics with basic parameters has been included and crosschecked for consistency by calculating Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, whose value of 0.80 indicates the validity of the research findings.
