Abstract
Furthermore, this enhanced approach allows for a more precise and detailed examination of the accident scene, enabling investigators to visualize the sequence of events leading up to the collision. By integrating the high-resolution environmental data obtained through laser scanning with sophisticated 3D CAD models, we can achieve a higher level of accuracy in simulating the various dynamics of the accident. This method not only AIDS in identifying the causal factors with greater clarity but also in formulating more effective strategies for preventing future incidents. The application of this methodology in our case studies has demonstrated its potential to significantly improve the understanding of complex accident scenarios, thereby contributing to the development of safer road environments. Through the systematic collection and analysis of crash data, this paper underscores the importance of technology and innovation in enhancing road safety measures and accident investigation techniques.
