Abstract
With the aim of increasing the quality of the service or product, it is possible to apply different statistical methods. The application of engineering statistical methods for this purpose refers to the processing of data that can be collected in different ways, depending on whether it is a product or a service. Only collected data often cannot give clear conclusions about the influence of a factor on quality. Thus, this paper explains the methodology that can be applied with the aim of collecting data first of all. On the other hand, there are also statistical methods that can be used to determine the required number of samples or combinations of different factors, and with the aim of speeding up the data collection process, which is explained in the paper. In order to analyze the impact on the quality of various factors, it is necessary to analyze the data. Thus, the paper presents the engineering methods that can be used in order to increase the quality of the service or product based on the collected data, but also to draw conclusions about the influence of various factors on the quality of the service.
