Review of the literature on the structural characteristics of unmanned aircraft

Abstract

Today, unmanned aircraft are in great expansion and in the next few decades, everyday life will be unimaginable without their use. In order to ensure their adequate integration into civil air traffic, it is necessary to investigate their safety aspect. In order to adequately investigate the behavior of unmanned aircraft in space, we must first understand their structural characteristics and their performance itself. The paper deals with a literal review of the constructive characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles. The dominant structure and its performance are shown, i.e. the quadcopter structure of unmanned aircraft. A special aspect is placed on the calculation of thrust, as one of the most important performance parameters of a transport aircraft. The works presented in addition to the theoretical approach of performance calculation, used experimental representation through simulations and real-time flights.
