Abstract
This study examines energy efficiency enhancements in Serbian school buildings, categorized by the National Typology. The research uses EnergyPlus software for energy simulations to identify critical strategies for improving thermal performance and energy savings in educational facilities. It highlights the significance of adapting to local climate conditions and provides actionable recommendations for policymakers, architects, and managers. The study contributes to sustainable building practices by advocating energy-efficient measures tailored to Serbia's educational institutions, with broader implications for climate change mitigation and resource optimization.
