Abstract

The paper presents national environmental indicators that are described and classified by thematic units and areas. Input data is divided into 12 categories (air and climate change, water, nature and biological diversity, soil, waste, noise, non-ionizing radiation, forestry, hunting and fishing, sustainable use of natural resources and others). The importance of data in collecting, analyzing and presenting to the public is enormous because decisions are made on the basis of these measured quantities as well as on the basis of independent measured values. Measurement methods are accepted as relevant and accurate.
