Abstract
Concurrent engineering, focused on efficient process management, is intertwined with quality management in a project whose objective is to develop a methodology to integrate both disciplines through the structuring of divergent and flexible processes. This approach is applied in a case study on the manufacturing of sustainable street furniture on a laboratory scale. To this end, three stages were established that allowed the identification of the processes with their inputs and outputs and the generation of the synergies necessary for their integration. This methodology demonstrated its effectiveness by building products on a laboratory scale, optimizing and streamlining production. In addition, it opens the opportunity to apply it in larger scale processes. The importance lies in its ability to improve efficiency in product development, highlighting interdisciplinary collaboration and providing an approach applicable to the sustainable production of street furniture.
