Abstract
Some side effects regarding COVID-19 vaccination havebeen reported. The most common reports ofcardiovascular issues were myocarditis and pericarditis.Although inflammation is the most common cause in thismatter, there were only a few reports about ischaemiccases related to COVID-19 vaccines. These reports alsocommonly included older men who received a seconddose of mRNA vaccination. We present a 25-year-old manwith chest pain mimicking a heart attack after receivingthe first dose of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. There wereno known preceding cardiovascular risk factors. Workupswere done, and the diagnosis made was unstable anginapectoris. This may remind physicians to increaseawareness of cardiovascular side effects in thisvaccination era, as it may be encountered even inyounger patients.
