Cast microwire with high value of temperature coefficient of resistance

Abstract

The paper studies precision alloy based on the intermetallic composition Ni3Sn + SiB3and developed for casting thermoresistant microwires in glass insulation. Cast microwires have a temperature coefficient of resistance (7.8–8.2) 10–3K–1and a specific resistance of 0.68–0.83 Ohm·mm2/ m, the wires could be recommended for miniature temperature sensors manufacturing.
