Abstract
The article addresses the topic of memory studies in the context of research methods used in the social sciences and humanities. The purpose of the text is to characterize key methodological approaches in memory studies. Among the methods used in memory studies, interview and oral history are described, moreover memory studies in psychology, the methodological dimensions of memory places and Holocaust testimonies are characterized. The article draws attention to the need to initiate interdisciplinary communication on method and methodology in memory studies, and to innovate the research approaches used.
