Slow czy fast – wyzwania pandemii COVID-19 dla teorii i praktyki ekonomii

Abstract

Purpose – The aim of this paper is to present the economics of international organizations which, in the practice of economic life, directly and indirectly affect the acceleration or slowdown of the world economy in the context of the evolution of globalization to the present stage of pandemization, with the separation of the special role of the EU in this regard. Research method – The following metods were used: literature studies, secondary data analysis, and the elements of comaparitve studies.Results – The necessity to strengthen the research program of the economics of international organizations was indicated in the context of the changing and complex economic world.Originality /value /implications /recommendations – It is a voice in the discussion on the role and impor-tance of international organizations for the economic theory and its practice in the context of slowingdown and accelerating economic processes.
