Abstract

The results of studying the influence of Russian commercial grinding additives of various chemical nature on the process of dry grinding of calcined alumina are presented. It has been shown that the use of the studied additives makes it possible not only to reduce the time of fine grinding of alumina raw materials by 1,5‒2 times, but also to increase the fraction of the yield of the submicron particle fraction (<1 μm) in the activated product.
