Abstract
Efforts to redefine production and consumption activities by developing environmentally friendly technologies have advanced considerably in recent years. In this study, it will be examined whether the European Union countries converge in the field of ecological innovation. Ecological innovation scores of the European Union between the years 2012-2021 were used in the study. According to the results of the study, while 10 of 18 countries converge to the average of leading countries, 7 countries converge to each other. In order to achieve the goal of being a climate neutral continent, the European Union should open incentive mechanisms and develop cooperation, especially to countries that do not show convergence.
