Abstract
ABSTRACT
The excimer laser delivers targeted ultraviolet radiation at 308 nm, useful for delivering targeted phototherapy. It can also be useful in treating difficult-to-reach treatment sites while minimizing radiation exposure to surrounding skin. The excimer laser has been FDA approved for treatment of inflammatory skin conditions. This review summarizes excimer laser applications and advantages over other narrowband UVB and other phototherapy treatments.
