Abstract
Abstract
A 62-year-old woman with follicular thyroid cancer who had received total thyroidectomy and multiple rounds of radioactive iodine therapy underwent both 18F-FDG and 18F-FAPI PET/CT. 18F-FAPI PET failed to reveal widespread bone marrow metastases that were clear visualized on 18F-FDG PET. This case highlights that FAPI PET may not be used to describe bone metastases in detail in follicular thyroid cancer patients, as it is not a sensitive method to detect bone marrow metastases.
