Abstract
Abstract
A 32-year-old man underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT to evaluate suspicious hepatic metastases, which were revealed by ultrasonography and MRI. The FDG PET/CT images demonstrated only one focus of subtly increased activity in the liver without abnormality elsewhere. The pathological result from hepatic biopsy was consistent with Paragonimus westermani infection.
