Histopathological examination of the skin from the right abdomen confirmed mycosis fungoides–type cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Staging PET with 18F-FDG PET/CT) showed increased uptake in the skin on the right abdomen and left hip. Subsequently 18F-FAPI-42 PET/CT revealed additional foci of abnormal uptake on the skin of the chest and back.
