Abstract
(Int J Obstet Anesth. 2022;50:103249)
Many consider the United States’ opioid crisis a public health emergency. Therefore, all available avenues to discourage opioid use after medical intervention is necessary. Opioids are frequently prescribed after cesarean delivery (CD) but use is inconsistent. This study assessed post-CD opioid use and identified demographic characteristics that correspond with additional opioid use.
