Abstract

The article deals with the main provisions of the proposed calculation model allowing to determine the amount of basalt fiber required to obtain dispersion-reinforced cement composites based on expansive binders with required stiffness characteristics. The proposed model is based on consideration of cement composite as a three-component material consisting of aggregate, cement matrix with conditionally separated from it transition zone, and fiber. The model applies the main provisions of the Effective Medium Theory taking into account the influence of the properties of the transition zone. The proposed model allows taking into account the influence of the mix of the self-stressing concrete, as well as the properties of its components on the amount of basalt fiber required to optimize the structure.
