Abstract

In addition to its agricultural characteristics, the faba bean plant is a remarkable plant due to its L-DOPA content. In this study, In this study, the effects of 3 different humic acid doses (HA0: control, HA1:2 l da-1, HA2:6 l da-1) and nitrogen fertilizer (5 kg da-1) treatments on some characteristics of Lara and Maçka genotypes and L-DOPA content in its flowers were investigated. The trial was carried out in the Strip Plots Trial Design in Samsun in one year. According to the findings, the effect of HA treatments on the amylose content in the seed was found to be statistically significant, and the values obtained from the treatments were equivalent to the control values in other examined properties. It has been determined that there are statistically significant differences between genotypes in many of the characteristics examined; It was determined that the flower yield and the amount of L-DOPA transferred to the tea water were higher in Maçka genotype.
