Abstract
In this article, we determine the unit group of the semisimple group algebra KqGL(2, ℤ5) of general linear group of 2 × 2 invertible matrices over the finite field ℤ5. Here Kq represents a finite field of order q = pk, where p is a prime and k is a positive integer.
