Abstract
Concealing information within digital images, blending the realms of art and science, has gained heightened significance in contemporary society. As a substantial amount of personal data is readily available on the world wide web in various formats, including text, still-images, and videos, safeguarding this information becomes imperative. This study explores data hiding through the alteration of coefficients using a DWT. Employing the Data Hiding in the Frequency Domain proves to be more advantageous compared to methods in the other domain. The scaling factor emerges as a pivotal parameter, exerting a substantial influence on key performance metrics. The suggested approach enhances the confidentiality, invisibility, and robustness of concealed data by integrating it within the Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) coefficients.
