Bibliographic relationships in library catalogue

Author:

Petek Marija

Abstract

AbstractBibliographic relationships are very interesting but not very much dealt with or written about. Although Panizzi was aware of the significance of bibliograhic relationships in the catalogue, theoretical and empirical research began only in the 70s of the 20th century. It is believed that bibliographic relationships are not identified at all or are identified only implicitly. This is the reason for search problems and inaccuracy.
