Abstract

The measurement results of electricity quality indicators at electrical centralization posts in one of the sections of the Eastern test site have been presented. A discrepancy between the measured indicators and the requirements of the standard has been revealed. The problem for the quality of electrical energy is relevant for all electricity consumers from electrified railways. In particular, when there is a significant deviation of electricity quality indicators from acceptable values in the power supply systems of electrical centralization posts, train downtime occurs, which leads to significant economic damage. For an in-depth study of the quality of electrical energy, a computer model of the power supply system for automatic blocking devices in the area under study has been developed. This model should simplify the analysis of deviations of power quality indicators from acceptable values and speed up the development of technical solutions to reduce deviations of problem indicators from acceptable values. The results obtained during computer modeling confirmed the presence of a violation of GOST requirements regarding the quality indicators of electrical energy in the specified power supply system, including the negative sequence voltage asymmetry coefficient. An analysis of possible measures to reduce voltage asymmetry in the power supply system under study has been carried out. A reasoned choice of automatic control points (APP) has been made. The simulation results have been presented before and after installing APP. The effectiveness of using APP has been assessed.
