Abstract
Sinus of Valsalva aneurysm is extremely rare. The ruptured sinus of Valsalva aneurysm is frequently associated with other congenital defects. If the aneurysm ruptures, it causes acute symptoms of dyspnea. We describe a case of a sinus Valsalva aneurysm originating from the left coronary sinus that ruptured into the interventricular septum, diagnosed with echocardiography and cardiac computed tomography, confirmed by operational findings.
