Alternative approach to obtain the derivative of the right stretch tensor with respect to the deformation gradient

Abstract A novel expression of the derivative of the right stretch tensor with respect to the deformation gradient is obtained by an alternative approach, which does not use the spectral/single-value decomposition of tensors involved.
