Abstract

This work is dedicated to the improvement of the near-field enhancement of temperature gradient beneath the tip apex due to delocalized plasmons excitation on a sub-wavelength grating engraved on the tip and nano focusing of these plasmons. we have compared the distribution of temperature gradient of two plasmonics gold tips optical antenna, bare tip and corrugated tip.By applying circular grating to the conical plasmonic optical antenna made of gold, the temperature gradient of around tip will be enhanced .
